I am so excited to be able to tell you about a new Team Based Right Livelihood - Dharma Bites - supported by a Future Dharma grant.
The team - Mahashanti, Damiant and Nagaruci -want to create an ethical business, creating clothes and souvenirs, to contribute to the spread of the Dharma in Mexico. More info below.
The Dharma Bites team showcased their work on Triratna Day 2026 and you can view the recording below. You can support projects just like Dharma Bites by setting up a regular gift to Future Dharma.

"We felt deeply inspired by our workshop with Subhuti and Upekshamati. And it was there that the idea emerged to create a small brand of souvenirs: T-shirts, bags, flasks, pins, and other items. The intention is to develop a distinctive brand that communicates the Dharma in a visual way, offering a gentle and accessible point of entry through phrases that invite reflection, meaningful images, and inspiring texts."

The Dharma Bites team told us that two of their team members do not have formal employment, and their income is uncertain. Their TBRL idea was not only a solution to that, but also a way to promote Triratna and spread the Dharma.
The challenge that Mahashanti, Damiant and Nagarucci faced was that they didn't have the moneyneeded to carry out the first print runs of the materials. The grant from Future Dharma made it possible for them to take the first step and bring the project to life.
The chance to work for Triratna or in a TBRL, among spiritual friends and within the Sangha, is a precious opportunity. But such opportunities are increasingly rare in our movement.
And yet Triratna was built through the energy and commitment of the early trailblazers who helped set our movement in motion, for the benefit of all of us today.
That's why at Future Dharma we have made commitment that half of all grants we give will go to growth; new and expanding centres, groups and situations which enable more people to access the Dharma. The other half will go to the strong foundations that support that growth.
After a challenging year at Future Dharma in 2025 we are grateful to everyone who helped us get back to a stronger position. This is how it has been possible to support projects like Dharma Bites with a grant to establish their new TBRL.
And there is so much more potential out there that we want to help fulfil.
