Triratna.org - A New Doorway to the Dharma!
How It Started
How It's Going

Triratna.org is the public front door of the Triratna Buddhist Community. In a small number of spacious pages it says what Triratna is, how we practise and how to find us. It then points people onward: to centres, where they can meditate and study with others, and to The Buddhist Centre Online and Free Buddhist Audio for talks, courses and news.

The site serves several audiences.
For people meeting Triratna for the first time – curious, looking for a class, or wondering what a friend has got involved in – it offers a warm, clear introduction.
For journalists, researchers and other Buddhist organisations, it gives an accurate account of the movement.
And for Triratna’s centres, it provides a shared reference point they can link to from their own websites.
The site follows the shape of Triratna itself, with pages on practice, Triratna’s approach to Buddhism, community, and the projects through which practice reaches into the wider world. An Ethics, History & Safeguarding page, linked from the homepage, sets out what happened in the past, what has been learned and how concerns are addressed today.
Alongside the site, Triratna Features brings regular stories from across the movement in text, video and podcast.
They appear on both Triratna.org and The Buddhist Centre Online.
triratna.org was developed by Vishvapani, Communications Advisor to the International Council, with design by Priyada and build by Samudradaka, and with Dharmachakra’s support throughout. It was funded by Future Dharma and the European Chairs’ Assembly.
