Creating a new home for the Linksöping Sangha, in Sweden

For more than ten years, the Sangha in Linköping, led by Subhalocana, has met every week for meditation and reflection. These evenings have always been open to anyone curious about the Dharma, and over the years many people have come through the door. Over time, as people saw the effects of the dharma on their lives the sangha grew. More people are come regularly to classes and more and more young people show up each week. Five people became Mitras in 2024 and friendships have deepened. There is a strong sense of shared commitment. At the same time, meeting in borrowed spaces started to feel limiting, the Linkoping Sangha needed a home.

The new perfect place was discovered in October 2025! Two calm, welcoming rooms that were previously used as a yoga school — will give them a dedicated meditation space and a place to gather and study together. With the help of Future Dharma supporters, the meditation room will be properly equipped, with mats, cushions, blankets and a Buddha rupa that brings a sense of reverence and continuity. Because of this generosity, the Dharma will have a visible, steady presence in Linköping, and many more people will be able to encounter the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha in a beautiful and welcoming Centre.
