Dharma Bites is a creative Right Livelihood project that brings the Dharma into daily life through simple objects. By printing centre logos, accessible Dharma quotes, and bespoke designs onto ethically sourced items such as tote bags and mugs, the project offers Buddhist Centres new ways to share their identity and values. These items are not only practical but also act as gentle reminders of the Dharma, carried into everyday spaces and interactions.
At its heart, Dharma Bites responds to real needs within the Sangha, supporting centres from the profits of the business while also helping to engage young people. With the help of this grant, the project is now taking a significant step forward, developing its production and reaching out to a wider community. In doing so, it aims to become a sustainable initiative that supports practitioners, centres, and the ongoing flourishing of the Dharma.
The Dharma Bites team also hopes to raise awareness of team-based Right Livelihood in Mexico, offering inspiration and practical support for others who feel moved to start their own initiatives.
