The Vajra Bell
How It Started
How It's Going

The Vajra Bell, published by the Aryaloka Buddhist Center in North America, is back after a five-year break!
The relaunch is part of the 40th anniversary celebration of Aryaloka, the first US-based Triratna centre. It seemed fitting as Vajra Bell got its start in the 1990s as the centre’s newsletter. Back then the mission was to impart information and inspire readers, build visibility for the developing and growing sangha, and to reach a larger audience. - Values that still hold strong today.
Saddhavasini, who has led the relaunch, paid thanks to Future Dharma and its supporters across Triratna. Due to a significant grant they are now able to pay for design, printing and distribution for the current and future issues. The publication continues also to be a collective, volunteer effort with content contributions from all nine Triratna centres in the US and Canada, as well as financial support from New York/New Jersey Sangha, and Aryaloka, Portsmouth, Seattle, San Francisco and Portland's Nagaloka Buddhist centres. And, we are happy to report that readership is Triratna-wide.
